2018-19 Traveling Basketball



Welcome to the 2018-19 CRCBC Basketball Registration!

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation and submit payment for the 2018-19 CRCBC Traveling Basketball Season.

New this year, all fees must be paid online.  To complete registration through our secure site, please have your Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or checking account information available.   You have the option to pay your entire 2018-19 season payment at time of registration, or 1/2 payment upfront with second payment due 11/1/18. You must register and pay at least 1/2 of your payment in order to tryout.


  • • 3rd Grade: Registration fee $160, non-refundable tryout fee of $20*. Total due:   $180.00
  • • 4th Grade: Registration fee $240, non-refundable tryout fee of $20*. Total due: $260.00
  • • 5-8 Grade:  Registration fee $320, non-refundable tryout fee of $20*. Total due: $340.00

*If you register by 8/15/18, and enter the discount code EARLY you will receive the early bird discount and the $20 tryout fee will be waived.  

Note: 8th Grade players who make the “A” (Red) team will owe an additional $50 later in season to cover paid coaching fees.


Refund Policy

If the player does not make a team, we will retain the $20.00 tryout fee (if applicable) and refund you the registration fees (and uniform fees, if applicable) within three weeks following tryouts.


Sibling Discount

If you are registering more than one player in your family, you will receive a $50 discount on the 2nd (3rd + all additional children) registration fee.  In order for the registration system to recognize that you are registering multiple players, please register all of your players at this time.  On the Review Page, there is a link near the bottom to "Register Another Player" - please click on this link to ensure that all of your players are registered within the same order. Note: Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of your Family’s discounted rates.


Scholarship Policy

If you request financial assistance, you must submit proof of free or reduced lunch eligibility prior to registration either via email to, or in person at registration. When this letter has been received, you will receive a coupon code that reduces your fees by $50.  

Volunteer Requirements and Deposit

A required volunteer deposit check in the amount of $200.00 is due at tryouts. This is a separate payment from the registration fees. All families are required to have adults work TWO shifts per child (approx. 8 hours) during our home tournaments. For the 2018-2019 season, the home tournament dates are:

• Boys Tournament – Nov 16-18, 2018

• Girls Tournament – Jan 19-20, 2019

This deposit check will be cashed if the volunteer commitment is not fulfilled. It is your responsibility to check in and out at the volunteer registration table to make sure your hours are recorded. Volunteer hours sign up will be available on line closer to tournament dates. 

For 2018: If you are not interested in working the tournament, a flat $150 Volunteer Payment will be collected at registration to cover your volunteer hours.



For 2018-2019, returning players will reuse their uniforms from last season.  New players will need to purchase a uniform at the time of registration. Cost of uniforms will be approximately $65. Players who have grown out of their uniforms will have an option to purchase a new uniform after they are announced on a team. 

Our 3rd Grade players will receive a reversible jersey as part of their registration fees. 

All new players for this season will receive a free warm up jersey in order to match their teammates.

Tryout Information

Tryouts (Grades 3-8)

Traveling tryouts will be held on Sunday, September 9th and September 16th, 2018 for all grades.  Times are posted below.  Players are encouraged (but not required) to attend both dates for tryouts, the score from the best date will be used. 

All tryouts will be held at the Coon Rapids High School.  All players MUST register prior to being allowed to tryout.  

Please note: All players must attend a tryout.  No one will be placed on an A team, if they are not at the tryout. Only exception to this is an injury, which must be discussed with the President.

There will be a mandatory parent meeting during tryouts, so we require at least one parent to attend tryouts with their player.
